With heavy hearts, we regret to announce that former STL Tigers instructor, trainer and coach Jeremiah Bergheger, 44, passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2022.

Jeremiah was a trainer and hitting instructor with the STL Tigers program from 2008-2022.  He began as a fitness and conditioning instructor with individual players in the Tigers organization and then developed group training before transitioning to hitting instruction.  His methods and techniques have helped hundreds of players reach their dreams of playing at the next level.  We will continue to teach his 8-step hitting approach to future STL Tigers players.  Jeremiah's energy and passion to help baseball players improve will be sorely missed.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Columbia, Illinois and The Crossings in Chesterfield, Missouri.  He had a great love of family.  He was an avid baseball athlete and fan.  He was a successful trainer to hundreds of athletes and coaches alike.  He knew and loved Christ.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church - Columbia, IL
or the March of Dimes.

Visitation is from 4-8 PM on Monday, August 15, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Columbia, IL and 9 AM until time of service on Tuesday August 16, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Columbia, IL

Funeral service is at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Columbia, IL.
