AVON, OH - The Lake Erie Crushers no-hit the Trois-Rivières Aigles 8-0 on Saturday night.

Lake Erie (17-9) put up eight runs on 12 hits at Crusher Stadium behind LHP Jack Eisenbarger's first professional complete-game no-hitter. After Eisenbarger struck out two of the first three Aigles (12-13) he faced, the Crusher offense got to work in the bottom of the first. C Alfredo Gonzalez stayed hot with an RBI single to put Lake Erie up 1-0. Eisenbarger continued to cut through the Trois-Rivières lineup, collecting two more strikeouts through the third inning while Gonzalez homered to make it 5-0 after three. The best the Aigles could do offensively was draw walks, with their best offensive opportunity coming in the fourth; a couple of walks and stolen bases put men at second and third, but Eisenbarger induced a groundout to get out of the jam. The Crusher left-hander continued to induce soft contact throughout the remainder of the game and ended the game with back-to-back 1-2-3 innings. Eisenbarger completed the game on 100 pitches, striking out seven while not allowing a hit for the win. RHP Braeden Allemann took the loss for Trois-Rivières.

Eisenbarger is currently in his first season in the Frontier League after spending the previous three seasons with the Gary SouthShore RailCats of the American Association. On his current pace, Eisenbarger is setting up to have the lowest ERA of his professional career in his first season with the Crushers and has allowed just 21 hits against 39 strikeouts in 36 innings so far.

Eisenbarger also threw a no-hitter in college at Rockhurt.  He was a member of the St. Louis Tigers from 2013-2015.
